theda??? Is there a letter missing? The answer to your question
depends upon "theda" defined. Could it be that an "r" is missing?

Thanks to the welcoming committee for the big "Welcome back!" You "guys"
are silly. So... just so you know that I'm not ignoring your posts... I
am back home but have hardly been *at* home since. Busy, busy, busy.
Whew!

And about that "TMJ" thing... you're so correct in beginning at the
beginning! There is no such "diagnosis" called "TMJ". But, I think the
person who started the thread had a complaint of "TMJ pain" ... which is
not the same! Right?

If the person wanted to have a discussion... he should have piped in by
now. So I figure ... why bother going beyond what Newbie and D have
done? ;-)

You're supposed to say 'welcome back' *first*. Then start your
lecture.

Where's your manners boy?

You could start with the fact that TMJ is an anatomical term
and not a diagnosis...

I'm curious about what your orthodontist says about this pain and "how
to treat" it. If I missed a post with this info, I'm sorry. I've been
offline for a week. Could you either repost or reply to my question?

Thanks,

Hi, thanks. So you do not think this TMJ pain has anything to do with
my braces? I also have neck pain quite often. I think it is from
stress.

I don't know if I clench/grind at sleep.

Any idea about how to treat the TMJ pain? Thanks.
