I think you might be right about the heavy night
time clenching as i always seem to have pain in the morning when i
wake up which then goes away quickly. I will look at an NTI

I wager your pain is due to heavy night-time clenching

An NTI is a devise to control this

Sorry for my sister Amatus, sometimes she is a bit
terse and oblique.

An NTI is a device that completely eliminates
grinding and clenching.

TFO = Traumatic Frakkin' Occlusion.

Not likely, but you should determine that this is indeed the tooth
causing the discomfort, and should be checked periodically to make sure
there is no sign the root canal treatment is failing.

Default Crowned teeth and biting pain...

Hello,

I have a three old root canal with porcelain fused to
metal crown on one of my left molars. Everything is ok but sometimes i
get very mild pain when eating certain foods at certain angles. It
dosent really bother me and i am prepared to live it - I have had the
crown filed a few times for bite adjustment. I am wondering though if
I am doing permaneant damage to other jaw/tooth structures near the
crowned tooth by not being completely pain free?.

Thanks
