It's just that all of this happening after a recent surgery
sure puts this in a different realm than 'regular' TMJ
troubles.

I have no idea what they did (good, bad, indifferent).

Nerves? Muscles? Tendons?

Now there is a different light on why an NTI isn't fixing
the whole affair.

Have you shared all of this with Dr. Boyd?

Ok, maybe im off on this, but my probs did get worse after surgery.

Something I have been able to pinpoint though, is the cramp I get on
one side that kicked
this whole deal off, is coming from the muscles directly below the
cheek bone. Is this some unusual
area to treat?

I suppose another related question would be, "would the NTI affect a
possible trigeminally mediated neuropathic facial pain complication
post FESS sinus surgery?"

Default NTI and possible surgery related complication.

Hello, ive been posting about my NTi experience, but
ive got a related but different question. Around the same time
as my jaw trouble started, i had FESS sinus surgery for the headaches
which I now know are clenching related. My question is regarding the
gnawing pain
i have on both sides of my face which seems to be related to the
muscle spasms, as they contract
and twitch. Im wondering if part of the pain im having could be some
nerve damage from the
FESS surgery. Does the description of gnawing facial pain fit the TMd
patient?
