Are you a dental student in the UK?

Didn't they bother to teach dental materials before clinic?

Are you pulling our leg?

We presume you are a dental student! Please go into the clinic and
observe how others are using alginate! We agree. If you do not see the
consistency of the mix, you will not know what to do!

This shows how far we have to go with dental education!

Default Dental Materials

Hi there, the other day I was thrown into the deep end, i had no dental
nurse as they were all occupied with other students.

I had to mix kalzinol, but it took me 4 attempts to get it right as I was
never shown how to do it. I am going to ask the senior nurses to give me a
demo. but does anyone know of any websites that show you how to mix
materials such as chemfil, kalzinol, dycal, aliginate, etc etc

The only distibutor I can find is dentsply who are useless as they provide
no documentation online.

Thanks guys!
