Thanks for clarifying that, Dartos, yeah, it did seem like he was
simulating that...I heard he was pretty stoned at Woodstock. I worked down the road as a camp counselor but didn't know what kind of impact it would someday have and foolishly didn't ask my boss for a day off. Have great pictures of the traffic backup though. Air guitar is what I can play (real strings and trying to actually play a note offends others' ears <G> ). AC, Newbie, and maybe even Steve B. play real instruments. D goldbanjo wrote: - quote - > Dartos, when you say air guitarist, was that the name of the group? I

Dartos, when you say air guitarist, was that the name of the group? I
googled his name and Air and found nothing, so wondering what you're referring to. BTW, sorry I left your name out of original post, so many names...you and others have also been really helpful to me over the years, so thanks! Steve, glad you liked the video, he looks like he has St. Vitus Dance, he certainly had a unique style :-) On Jan 15, 2:18*pm, Dartos <tuthjoc...[at]myturbonet.com> wrote: - quote - > LOL!

LOL! I think all of us were familiar with the Beatles' lyrics and just plugged them in with a 'Cocker' twist when we were singing along with Joe. Was he also the first air guitarist? D - quote - > goldbanjo wrote:

and everyone else who has been so kind to me. I always think, how can
I repay you for the time you have taken to help me with questions over the years. On a message board, what could I give back? Well, someone just sent me a fwd, which is the last thing you probably want...but this is one of the funniest things I have ever received. Some of you being a fellow guitarist and from the same era, and even if you aren't, I think you will find this as hysterical as I did. Ya gotta watch it more than once! So...I hope you're at your office now, taking a break and hope you enjoy this, please turn the sound up: http://www.elwp.com/Joe%20Cocker.html |
