Default Re: WISDOM TEETH SWELLING - HARD LUMP- HELP

How did you remove your 4 wisdom teeth? Most folks have a
doctor or dentist or surgeon remove the teeth for them.

Hi

I'm a 23 yr old female and I removed my 4 wisdom teeth this
weekend. I
am exactly on my 4th day. Everything went well, bleeding
went away,
barely any pain, little swelling at first..However a couple
of days
ago I developed a ball like, firm lump on my right cheek. My
left
cheek is practically normal so this is causing just
discomfort and
frustration. I do have bruising on both sides.

I called the Oral Surgeon twice and he reassured me it;s
okay and to
relax..I just would like a second opinion.

Is this hard lump and swelling normal? If so what can I do
to help
reduce it?

Thank you!

This swelling is quite normal u dont have to worry this swelling is
because u r oral surgeon would have removed bone that would have
caused swelling so dont worry it will come down in 1 weeks time

IOW's...normal? No. Common minor complication? Yes.
Could be something more, but it's impossible to say from
this side of screen.

Best wishes,
Steve

No way to say anything specific about you over the internet. Can not be
done.

In general,,,,,,,,,,,, some swelling of the muscle due to spasm or some
inflammation local to the surgery is common.
