Do what? Brevity is good, but when you don't leave any of the message you
are responding to, your response has no context. We don't necessarily know what
(or who) you are responding to.

That brings to mind two diametrically opposed scenarios.

You read right, *Y*W*C*A*. It was just three blocks from his office.

I asked him once if that bothered his wife. He said "Noooo, she knows my
capabilities".

Pat was an original! I think he just got an exceptional set of genes, but
he also worked at staying vigorous and alive. He left home early every morning
and spent an hour or two exercising with friends at the YWCA. Perhaps the
scenery there helped preserve his eyesight. Vacations were spent hiking.
Always had the latest gadgets in his operatory.

Busy day, there are better descriptions out there

http://www.tennesseehistory.com/class/Jackson.htm

"The inauguration party of President Jackson was one of the wildest D.C. had
ever seen. In fact, so wild that nothing like it has ever been seen again.
Cockfights, wild drunken parties and other like activities were carried on
in the White House as he opened the door to the people who had elected him
to office. "

Better yet, correct me if I am wrong.
The leader of this nation is thinking of putting in a plan to test all
schoolchildren for mental capacity, and if they are what was once considered to
be normal; they will now be considered retarded and put on medication to adjust
their mental condition.
Why wasn't that in place when he was a child. May have spared some lives.
Guess he has his good points too if one looks long enough.

"Bush is moving forward with S.S."

"No surprise that"

What else does he have to do. From his royal inauguration, one would never
know he has a war to think about. A scaled down inauguration would have been
more appropriate. I guess he means well, but you know, the road to hell
___________.
and then again, no one is innocent of everything. Sometimes life teaches us
too late or not at all.
