Alf, could you please post which are the more exact differences of
northern vs southern olive oil?
PUFA and w-3 to w-6 ratio please.
I am particularly fond of ligurian olive oil, where it is cooler and
more arid than in the south.

thanks

Are you a rat or a rabbit?? Erucic oil is dangerous for rodents only.
(The research projects on erucic oil has almost stopped entirely when
it was shown to have almost next to none effects in other mammalians,
humans included.

My bottle of the rape seed is 7% saturated, 60%MUFA and 33% PUFA,
Olive oil depends highly on variety. Varieties mostly grown north of
mediteranean sea has a very different composition from those grown
southern of it.

The PUFA content of both is rather low compared to other oils, like
soy oil, sunseed oil and corn oil which are almost only omega-6 oils.
