I think I have more experience than reading a magazine article and the
bible, which appears to be the limit of your knowledge. A moron is a genius
next to you, so I can accept being a moron in that context.

Seeing you have iron in every cell of your body, it is fully riddled with
it, and you will die in that condition, that makes you some expert.

Anti-angiogenic Activity of Tocotrienol

Hitoshi INOKUCHI, Hisako HIROKANE, Tsuyoshi TSUZUKI, Kiyotaka NAKAGAWA,
Miki IGARASHI, and Teruo MIYAZAWA

Food Biodynamic Chemistry Laboratory, Graduate School of Life
Science and Agriculture, Tohoku University, Sendai 981-8555, Japan

Received April 7, 2003; Accepted May 19, 2003
The anti-angiogenic property of vitamin E compounds, with particular
emphasis on tocotrienol, has been investigated in vitro. Tocotrienol,
but not tocopherol, inhibited both the proliferation and tube formation
of bovine aortic endothelial cells, with -tocotrienol appearing the
highest activity. Also, -tocotrienol reduced the vascular
endothelial growth factor-stimulated tube formation by human umbilical
vein endothelial cells. Our findings suggest that tocotrienol has
potential use as a therapeutic dietary supplement for minimizing tumor
angiogenesis.
Key words: angiogenesis inhibitor; cancer; tocopherol; tocotrienol;
vitamin E
