| You say you started a special diet because you had a mystery illness and now it has progressed? Go to the Doc and have check up. You didn't tell us your approximate age, height, weight, bp, prescriptions, chronic conditions, supplements, or etc. I repeat go to a medical doctor. <fgt[at]aol.com> wrote in message news:v6q201lgo8g4ip65ilhtetdkvsjbh89p3b[at]4ax.com... - quote - > > > Due to mystery illness, I started avoiding carbs, and went to almost > vegen diet for weeks. | It is possible although not likely in most diets. The symptoms are almost the same. <fgt[at]aol.com> wrote in message news:9g4301tk2mndejf19uoobomoo5fs5q0k64[at]4ax.com... - quote - > On Wed, 2 Feb 2005 20:32:30 -0500, "Piezo Guru" <gbusey[at]honmail.com> > wrote: > > > Sounds like you have acidosis. you whole body is too acidic and you need to > > raise your pH level. She slowly improved after about three months and then, after about ayear, she started to improve quite a lot. We are hoping she will be back to normal one day. The "experts" estimates vary from 18 months upwards. - quote - > Im taking the supplements but, how did she backtrack on her diet?
She has been building up on the carbohydrates very slowly.> Slowly adding carbs etc? - quote - > It seems like mine is all over the place, one set of nerves goes, than
Have you seen a neurologist? Your problem may not be diet related at> a different set, but the previous set seems fine. I hope there is a > way to reverse all this and there reallly isnt damage. > > all. Peripheral nerve damage will recover very slowly. Steve |

| Sounds like you have acidosis. you whole body is too acidic and you need to raise your pH level. This can be associated with too many proteins and loss of electrolytes via sweating etc. Try this Baking soda (sodium bocarbonate) at 10 am and 4 pm each day (not close to food), about 500mg (large capsule size) for a few weeks. If it works, get on more magnesium and potassium and start eating fresh vegetables, not cooked. <fgt[at]aol.com> wrote in message news:bhu201h41jidkfiladv8srjbaq1n9dgucb[at]4ax.com... - quote - > On Thu, 03 Feb 2005 00:25:37 +0000, steve[at]tropheus.demon.co.uk wrote: > Thanks Steve. > Did she have muscle twitches, spasm as well? > I hate to ask but what is a long time? > Im taking the supplements but, how did she backtrack on her diet? > Slowly adding carbs etc? > It seems like mine is all over the place, one set of nerves goes, than > a different set, but the previous set seems fine. | Due to mystery illness, I started avoiding carbs, and went to almost vegen diet for weeks. Then I added some meats, but basically stayed away from milk/dairy/ breads/ sugars and lived on mostly meats and vegetables. I took many supplements. About a month into this, I started to develop paresthesia, tingling, burning, numbness, muscle twitches etc. Is it possible that the diet was too extreme and caused these sensations? Know of any similar situations? If so, what is the best way back to health. Thanks. |
